Record monsoon rains and melting glaciers in northern mountains have triggered floods that have killed at least 1,191 people, including 399 children, in the Asian country. The group, of which Pakistan is a member country, commended the Pakistani authorities and relief agencies for their extraordinary efforts to bring relief to the victims and provide crucial humanitarian assistance.
